General Policy

Due to the digital nature of our e-book courses, all sales are considered final. Once you have gained access to the course materials (via download or account login), we do not generally offer refunds.

This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK), which exempt digital content from cancellation rights once downloading or streaming has begun with the consumer's consent.

2. Exceptions to the No Refund Policy

Refunds may be considered under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: If you are unable to access the course due to a technical fault on our part that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time. If you have any issues accessing the courses or have any technical difficulties, then please contact us for assistance within 14 days of your purchase. We will be only too happy to help.

  • Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same e-book course more than once.

  • Misrepresentation: If the course was clearly and materially misrepresented in the product description.

To request a refund under these exceptions, please contact us within 14 days of purchase, including proof of purchase and details of the issue.

3. How to Request a Refund

Please contact us at hello@thefriendlyfamilylawyer.co.uk with the following information:

  • Full name

  • Email address used for purchase

  • Order number

  • Reason for requesting a refund

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.

4. Your Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable laws in England and Wales.

5. Amendments

We reserve the right to update this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will apply only to purchases made after the date of the change.

Our information collection and use of any personal information about you is set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Rights to Content/Intellectual Property

All course content, including but not limited to e-books, videos, text, logos, graphics and downloadable materials, is the intellectual property of  The Friendly Family Lawyer Ltd/Fotoulla Menikou and is protected by copyright laws and trademarks.

By purchasing and accessing our digital courses, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the materials for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or share the content in any form

  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the content

  • Resell or sublicense the course materials

Any unauthorised use of our content may result in legal action.
