FIXED FEE DIVORCE PACKAGES
ACTING FOR THE PARTY FILING FOR DIVORCE
£750 plus VAT and disbursements
This package includes full legal representation from the drafting of the initial divorce petition all the way through to the final order of divorce. We go “on the court record” dealing with all correspondence and take care of the key stages in the divorce process for you.
ACTING FOR THE PARTY RESPONDING TO THE DIVORCE
£650 plus VAT and disbursements
This package includes full legal representation from the completion of the Acknowledgement of Service all the way through to the final order of divorce. We go “on the court record” dealing with all correspondence and take care of the key stages in the divorce process for you.
FINANCES ON DIVORCE
Divorce proceedings do not automatically bring an end to your financial claims or those of your spouse. Negotiating finances is outside of the fixed fee divorce packages. We can however assist you with a financial settlement on a competitive hourly rate basis.
We may also be able to assist you under a further fixed fee package, tailored to your specific requirements.
We offer a fixed fee package for the preparation of a Consent Order, where financial matters have been independently agreed between you and your spouse.
LITIGANTS IN PERSON
We regularly offer background assistance to litigants in person, providing case review and analysis and assisting them with the drafting of Witness Statements, Position Statements and other case related documents.
CHILD ARRANGEMENTS
We can advise you on how best to agree arrangements for your children, such as where they will live and how much contact they will have with each parent. We can advise you on parental responsibility and help you to reach an agreement which puts the needs of your children first. If you would like to formalise agreements surrounding your children’s care, we can help you to obtain a Child Arrangements Order through the court. We can also guide you on other orders in relation to your children such as Specific Issue and Prohibited Steps Orders.
DOMESTIC ABUSE - NON-MOLESTATION AND OCCUPATION ORDERS
These orders often go hand in hand and we can help you to obtain an appropriate order in order to protect yourself.
Non-molestation and occupation orders are both types of civil injunction, each with an individual purpose. A non-molestation order is to stop abuse and harassment from a named person and will place restrictions on them, preventing them from certain conduct. An occupation order will determine who can live in the family home.
We can help you to obtain an appropriate protective order from the court and guide you through the entire process.
COHABITATION AGREEMENTS
If you are thinking about living with a partner, we can advise you on the law surrounding unmarried couples and prepare a Cohabitation Agreement to protect your interests.
SEPARATION AGREEMENTS
If you’re married or in a civil partnership and you decide to separate from your spouse, you can enter into a separation agreement. This will record the agreement you have reached about how your money, property and responsibilities will be divided following your separation, pending divorce or dissolution of civil partnership proceedings. These agreements are also used for cohabiting couples who have decided to separate.
PRE-NUPTIAL AND POST NUPTIAL AGREEMENTS
We can prepare a pre-nuptial agreement for engaged couples and a post-nuptial agreement for those already married, to define and protect your assets.
